Savannah, GA - Tom Suter, chairman of Wescom Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee, received the 2004 Golden Service Award at NACUSAC's 2005 Annual Conference & Exposition held in Savannah, Georgia.  For 21 years, Suter has been a volunteer at the southern California-based credit union which has over $2.8 billion in assets and 230,000 members.  Serving on the credit committee beginning in 1983, he joined Wescom’s supervisory committee in 1994.  A conscientious volunteer, he has completed all training tracks of CUNA’s Volunteer Achievement Program.  Suter’s professional career working as an engineer for Pacific Bell, Wescom’s original sponsor company, spanned 40 years.
