John McCabe Memorial Scholarship

In 1997, NACUSAC set up the John McCabe Memorial Scholarship Fund. It was named to honor the memory of NACUSAC's second chairman of the board, John McCabe.

Every year, NACUSAC invites credit union supervisory/auditing committee members, who would otherwise be unable to attend the association's conference, to apply for a scholarship. Usually one scholarship is awarded. The scholarship includes: the conference registration fee and three-nights lodging at the host hotel. It is the responsibility of the scholarship recipient, or the recipient's credit union, to cover all other travel and meal expenses not included in the description above.

Eligibility: Members of credit union supervisory or auditing committees who meet the following criteria will be considered:

NACUSAC member credit unions with assets less than $25,000,000 at the time of application
Completion of this scholarship application form submitted no later than May 8, 2009.
